Where are LAUDAE gowns made?
All of our dresses are handmade in our garment studio in Vancouver's East Hastings neighbourhood.
Since we make each gown to order, it takes 5-6 months for a gown to be ready. Alterations usually take an additional 6-8 weeks, so we recommend ordering your dress minimum 8 months before your wedding!
Yes we can! A huge perk of having our own atelier is that we can make gowns in under 1 month if we have to. Email us at info@laudae.com for more info on order times & applicable fees.
Follow this diagram. You need three measurements : Bust, Waist, and Hip. To figure out your bust measurement, wrap a tape measure around your chest and over your nipples. To get your waist measurement, wrap the tape measure around the smallest part of your torso. Finally for the hip, measure around the widest part of your bum. If you fall between sizes, it's always best to size up! If you’re unsure, shoot us an email.
Our gowns run from size 0-26, with specific measurements found within the “Size & Fit” tab in a gowns’ listing (or by clicking here!). In some cases, we can also do split sizing, if you believe you might be different sizes on the top/bottom! Have questions? Send us a note at info@laudae.com.
We’d recommend paying a visit to your closest stockist so you can have a professional opinion on what size to order. If you’re ordering online, then we will do all that we can to make you feel confident with your ordered size — just shoot us an email!
We have stockists worldwide. Pay a visit to our stockist page to find a retailer near you!
For the most part, we recommend avoiding dry-cleaning if you can — we're not fans of the environmental impact! That being said, some of our fabrics are super delicate and need to be dry-cleaned to preserve the material. For dress-specific cleaning questions or concerns, email us at info@laudae.com.
