We took a couple of our gowns on a field trip alongside one of our favourite real-life couples, Sara & David. We drove out to Fort Langley, BC which is a nostalgic little town lined with quaint cafes, antique stores, and surrounded by farmland and fields.
Our first look features the Geneva dress, which we styled with western-boho elements. Cowboy boots are everywhere right now but these ivory ankle cowboy booties are a subtle way of incorporating the trend. We added statement earrings (as always), and floated a wide brim hat between the couple. David wore black slacks and a vintage tee for an effortless-cool look. Think bad-boy aesthetic meets husband material IRL. ;)
For our second look, we chose a fan favourite from this year – the Kloof. Its high neckline, tie-back, and peekaboo skirt is romantic, elegant, and playful. We wanted to work some retro quirkiness into this look so we found some cool vintage stores, and added pearly barrettes to Sara’s hair and a patterned button-up for David.
